Friend of a friend is rehoming her 14yo JRT. He has until Sunday then going to a kennels which neither of us like the idea of so muggins here has said he can come to me at least in the short term (but let's face it he's 14yo...he'll be staying). Will need some careful introductions with some of the pack but can't face the idea of kennels at his age ?

Mad, maybe. But kind hearted, definitely ??

Why do they want rid?

Owner has moved from a busy home with some around most of the day and other dogs to a retirement flat and he's barking constantly while she is at work. She has tried dog walker, behaviourist etc but nothings helped and she's been told to get rid or move and family can't help?

We had one slight issue yesterday, not thinking I had them in my office with me. Ginny can be a guard under my desk but as the other two don't fit she will just quietly grumble and they move off so it's never an issue. He went to bimble under, she grumbled then snapped at him. No harm done but she is now banned from under my desk until we can deal with the guarding as a whole. Nothing to worry about, we had far worse between Ginny and Fizz when Ginny first joined us, i have popped him a bed on my desk so i can avoid the issue while im working while we deal with the guarding issue as i cant pay as close attention as i would like. Hes very happy with the arrangement. He's loving our morning pack walks and I've popped him on a joint supplement just to try to support his mobility but otherwise he's just a happy chilled out soul.
