ours charges 45 pounds to do the diagrams alone (that's each). And then call out of 30 pounds on top. He's 5 miles away.

Most artists who's work sells for millions now (Picasso, Rembrandt, Monet, etc.) charged less when they were alive!

I used the injection thingy certificate, which had markings diagram on. So it only cost me the passport price and no need for vet call out

122 quid is shocking!

I think youre all being taken for a ride! I had my vet out a week ago to do 2 anti flu/tets plus RhinoP AND he did Lepres teeth. The teeth came to 60 euros which included sedation and a full going over -molars and incisors. The vacs came to a total of 40 euros per horse. Things are becoming way over the top at home (GB).Who the hell do these vets think they are-God Eternal? Its about time they remembered that 'NO CLIENT=NO DOSH'.If you want, Ill tell you how much I spent on the blacksmith today

.M: PS, forgot to say-the vet was about 120 kilometers away when he set off to come here to do the above

If I was you I'd contest the Bill!!!!! Why the Passport people think we are too dumb to fill our own in I don't know.
I had to take my two in and then point out all the whirls scars etc myself

I had to totally go over the red pen the vet used on mine and a friends horse with black before sending off, my pony would have been ginger and white everywhere, he did all the sworls whatever you call them in red.

I had to pay a similar stupid amount a few years ago when I had mine done - the best bit was when i got the forms back from the vets, my Appaloosa mare had changed from four white, stripey feet, to four black ones!!

I could have done better myself!

Being in Warwickshire you will have at least five Equine Veterinary Practices covering your area, the competition in that area is fairly strong. If your unhappy with the bill I suggest you settle your outstanding account and switch vets. I suspect ,however, that the price you have been charged is about the going rate.

I had vet out the other day

1 flu tet vac

1 rasp teeth

1 sedation for clipping (needed two lots to get him sedated) and he came back 45 mins later to check I was ok and got it all off.

How Much???

£45

But don't worry they got me last year with a £3000 bill for a tendon sheath infection
