I would have done if I was sitting down...
I would have fallen over, but I had the table to support me - thank goodness!!
Anyway, I was talking to my husband about our chickens. They are a friendly bunch and always pace their fence when they hear the back door opening for want of some attention (or food most likely!). I was saying that I wish they wouldn't do that, as it will start to make a track..
So OH popped up;
'Its like they are weaving, you know when horses swing from side to side over their stable door, but it is a chicken vice now!'
I replied
'How do you know about weaving horses?' (we don't have any that weave!)
Mr Smarty pants then said
'Arhh, but when you worked at J's, she had that chestnut horse Irish who did that, and you put up the anti weaving grid on his stable door'.
I have to say I'm pretty impressed, that not only he remembers Old Irish, his colour and the fact he weaved (go back 11/12 years!!) he explained it in a know-all, matter of fact way too!!
He hardly knows the front end from the back end in reality!!!
