What you have to do is......arrange for expensive/large items to be delivered to work and then swiftly taken down to the yard, sprinkled with a few horse hairs and voila! ''That old thing- had it ages.''

Then...swiftly package up old saddle, get it on t'e-bay to replace funds before he notices you have spent anything!

Yup, that's the way to do it! I do almost exactly the same as you Poppymoo, except I never quite get round to putting the old stuff back on ebay!
