I nearly went for a swin this morning!

I have been "bragging" to my friend about how good my pony is out hacking because she is a nervous rider and I am trying to help her get more confident by hacking out with her. We went out yesterday and my pony behaved really well but today it all went a bit wrong.

My pony spooked and spun at something - not sure what - and then ran towards the dyke. Luckily she stopped just before we plunged down the 6ft drop. I managed to get her a few more yards up the path when she did it again. I'm not sure that my friend will ever come out with us again

im sure your friend will go out with you again, but with your horse playing up did it make your friend feel more confident that her horse didnt play up, i bet she felt great knowing her pony didnt.

or maybe your friend would be pleased to go with you again because if anything goes wrong then your there to help
