I need a horse for a day

Hello everyone, I have been riding on and off since i was nine and im now 25, i have recently had some refresher lessons and last year did a few sponserd rides and a cross country im not lucky enough to have a horse of my own and have great friends that let my ride theres.

My Hunt which i regulary follow on foot is due to meet on a local estate in March and i would love to ride as it would be my first time hunting i was wondering if any of you had any advise or ideas on how i would go about hireing a horse for the day..None of my friends horses have hunted and im not sure i could handle my first time and a horses so if any one knows of someone whom loans experienced horses i would really appriciate any help.
Im based in Berkshire and the hunt is meeting on the 12th of march.

Maybe phone the secretary of your local hunt and ask if they know of any local hirelings. I suspect though that unless you know someone, generally speaking people would not lend a horse to someone they don't know. Hope you manage to find something and enjoy your day out.
