I need a hug, another Gem update

Have been to see my beautiful girl this evening. They just got some test results back showing low white blood cells and very high liver enzymes. It looks less likely to be pneumonia, and they have to re consider cancer again. They think she has liver damage but can't judge the severety of it until they do a biopsy, which will be done on Tuesday. If the damage has been caused by an infection, they can try to fight it, if it is something else causing the damage...we have to think about having her pts after Spring/Summer depending on how she's doing.

*Still trying to stay positive but could definitley do with some hugs*

Thanks everyone, so much, it means a lot for you all to be thinking of us. I really can't see her giving into this, she's still a happy girl, I got some photos again this evening and she looks happy in them.

Also, Liz I'm really sorry I just had an (awful) driving lesson and accidently left msn on, so I wasn't there when I got your message, but don't be silly, you weren't being selfish at all, you weren't to know!
