Dani, sorry if I've missed something, but is there a reason why the biopsy cannot be done sooner? It seems awful that you have to wait nearly a week, and surely, if Gems condition is infection related, the sooner the vets know, and start treatment, the better her chances are of a good recovery?

They want to wait a few days, and then do another...thing... (lol nice and technical?) that checks her liver enzymes, and they will see if they have changed at all from today, if they have, they will do the liver biopsy. They said they don't want to do it sooner as they don't want to do it unnecssarily.

Oh well, with all these vibes from HHO she won't even need a biopsy and will be home in no time, eh?

I've just seen your beautiful pictures in the gallery and then came to read this, I hope above anything else that your vets get to the bottom of her illness very soon and that it is treatable and curable. You so obviously love her very much and from looking at the photo's that love is most definately reciprocated. A beautiful partnership that I hope and pray will carry on for years to come.
