I need a new hat...suggestions please

Well after my fall on friday I checked my hat and it doesnt feel too good, might of been like it before, but hey least I know now

So decided that if my horse is going to carry on being a fruit loop then I really should invest in a new one. I have my smart one for sj etc so need a new scullcap for xc and everyday riding, suggestions please...

Charles Owen Adventura or the J3

Both lovely skull caps & very lightweight too

The Champion Ventair is nice too, very light and ventilated.

I do have a charles owen shaped head, which one is best out of the two?

J3 if they fit!! Otherwise, i love my Ventair, although only champion fit

will go and try one on then, they do look less bulky than most, my old hat was huge

Daughter had a 4 year old J3, the new J3 didn't fit but the Ventair skull did. The Gatehouse HS1 was totally the wrong shape.

Think the J3 is lower profiled, so might mean a tighter fit as it's tapered around the bottom (if you look at it)

I've had my adventura for 4 years and it still fits as well as on the day I got it. Oh and it's cheaper too

Champion ventair....cannot reccomend it enough.

Another vote for the gatehouse! None of my hats (had charles owen, champion etc) have ever fitted me properly so this time I tried a gatehouse and it is so comfy. It even comes with a hat bag so it doesn't get wrecked rolling round my car

tried on the ventair today amnd didnt fit that well, so will try the J3 next
