I have a 14.1hh Dapple Grey, 4yo mare of the above cross. Her name at home is 'Winnie' but I need a proper name for her for her passport. So far I like 'Lady Winifred' 'Woodland Winnie' 'The Iron Lady' and 'The Countess' please add suggestions or thoughts on which your prefer. Can't post a photo as on my BB at the moment at work
Thanks

Like Iron Lady, but wont be as good if she goes very light. Named my youngster 'silver horse' in Welsh (even though she is chestnut) as she has a lot of 'silver' prefixes in her pedigree. Is there a place on Dartmoor that you like the name of? Or maybe Winifred Tor? Keep it simple as The Grey Lady? Just play about to you find something thats stikes a chord with you. Maybe find something then translate it into Welsh or Gaelic (filly's dam has a Scots Gaelic name) as I did (can do online very easily)?
