I Need a Trailer Fixing Man! Ifor Williams

Trying to get instructor's trailer fixed for her while she's on holiday (she's leant it to me so many times I definately owe her a favour!).

One of the leaf springs is broken (went 'snap!' on a very bumpy track).

Anyhoo, the two people round here can't do it 'till next week (both would have to order in), so does anyone know a place, other than Appleyards (one of the ones who can't do it 'till next week), who could do it this week? Happy to take it within a thirty mile radius of Jnc 25 of the M1. I have to limit the distance as it would be D towing and he has a stinking cold and I can't drive for another week and a half (not that I'm counting at all you understand ).

Don't really know your location but there are 2 dealers I know of - HB trailers in Aldridge and there is another near Leek. Look on the Ifor website - it tells you the dealers on there

I was going to suggest either HFB trailers in Leek or a garage in Ellastone, but not sure how the distance pans out.

Have spoken to the Leek people, they can do it tomorrow . So, as long as D is okay... (he has man 'flu), he'll take it over after lunch

I'm such a dufus! Leek is HFB, Aldridge is T and A. (Only realised when towing my trailer yesterday and saw T and A staring at me!!!)

Ta hun . I just googled Ifor Williams and Leek and HFB came up.

Am frustrated at the moment, awaiting friend's okay to take it there. Can't see her having a problem, but as it's not my trailer I don't want to do the wrong thing. D is full of man flu so it might have to wait 'till tomorrow anyway...
