i need advice for my 15.2hh welsh mare 18yo

Hello, my horse star broke her leg in july 2012, nearly two years later i find that when i ride her she tends to drop the hind leg which she broke, she is 18 this year so she could be starting to get arthritus in it, but i just wanted to ask if anyone would have any advice, suppliments or any treatments i could try, her leg only drops in walk, but i always warm her up, stretch her before and after i have worked her, but i just want to know if there is anything i can do to help her.

Sounds like a problem with her hip/pelvis to me. She will be more prone to arthritic changes due to her previous injury, I'd have a word with my vet if I were you
