I need another dog

Well I seem to have more work than the current bunch can handle. We will muddle through this season but I will definitely need an extra for next year.
I thought if I put my wish list on here that one of you may hear of something.
So…
Working type Labrador
Less than a year old
More than three months
Nervous or poorly socialised is fine to a point
Not madly expensive. If I’m paying top dollar I will go and get one with breeding etc that I choose but I’m happy to take a punt with a blank canvas.
I hope this isn’t against forum rules? ?

Couldn’t resist! We have to have some banter, but I wouldn’t be amazed if some brilliant person hasn’t already messaged Clodagh, as a brilliant person did me the other day. Could have been perfect, but I think we’ve decided against another for now.

Well I needed to consult OH. May go visit him soon.

Tell me someone, can I ask for vet history? How do they prove they own him? Paperwork I guess.

You can ask - might be forthcoming, might not. Paperwork, contact breeder and ask if they sold to this person. Check microchip isn't flagged.

You can ask for a phone consultation with their vet to prove ownership, I guess and the owner should have the microchip paperwork, mine is upstairs somewhere along with original vaccination cards.

I’m off to see one on Thursday, a lock down puppy but his parents have good health tests and he has been to training classes. Feeling quite positive. Then feeling WTF you need another dog in the house like a hole in the head… ?
