2, 3 & 7

I wouldnt do a particularly big jumping class at your first show, fun or not, you'll both be nervous & you want to build your confidence. Only do class 3 if class 2 goes well.

7 because you have to do a boring flat class - its the law! The small jump should play to your advantage & those sort of classes tend to be really relaxed! I he is a comp type perhaps 8 might be a better option?

thanks...a small jump is NOT a good thing fo us 2!! We go all silly...and He doesn't jump well!!

I agree with the not jumping big in a first show but he doesn't jump well when the jumps are too small!

I don't have to do a flat class over here...allready asked the woman what has to be done!!

Lol I didnt really mean the "law," just I always feels pressurised into doing a flat-class

Oh and I remember the jumping thing now, hmm tricky, go with whatever your gut feeling is. Im always a bit paranoid as one of mine always get stage fright at shows, so I have to confidence build!!

2,3,6,14 and the games. I love games and wish I could go to more gymkhanas. But my current horse is 16.3hh and i can't get on from the ground!

Avoid doing more than two small 'active' classes and one 'quiet' class as your horse/pony will get very tired with all the excitment and you want him to enjoy his first outing with you and to go home on a positive note rather than being exhausted. Good luck, enjoy and don't expect too much at first.
