Hi all,

I need your help!

I need a name to submit to the Jockey Club for my filly. She was born in June and I have been stuck ever since! She is the first ever smoky black sabino thoroughbred filly to be registered with the JC (she was born in Canada). She is a deep chocolate brown with 3 high whites, a blaze and white chin, belly spots etc. She is very striking! I wich I could post a picture so you could see her.

I was thinking along the lines of her colour ie. something Noir or something to signify the fact that she is the first born and very unique etc.

Your suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

If she was born in Canada and is in UK she would be registered in Canada surely to get a passport ? So whatever the name she would if TB have (CAN) after her name.

Sire and dam would help but..

Isn't it totally murderous anyway? The first fifty names you think of are already in use/still current so you can't have them. So in the end it has to be either really unusual or deliberately obscure.
Something with Maple Leaves in it?
Smoke Across the Rockies?

the_skewbald has a good point abt the first fifty names.. no sure if this still goes but Weatherby's used to have an 18 character/space limit

Pics now on another thread, thanks zoeshiloh!

Nailed, her dam is called Puchi Trap (a bay tb sabino mare) and her sire is Guaranteed Gold (a cremello tb stallion).

Forester, she has to be reigstered with the American jockey club and when shI import her her passport will then be transferred to Weatherby's.

Thanks for all your suggestions, take a look at her and keep them coming!
