i need help please

i am doing some research for college and cannot find anything.

i got told to research the link between nutrition and hooves. i was wondering if anyone could help me and tell me what nutrients are needed in a horses diet to have healthy hooves and if they are lacking in a certain nutrient what could happen to hooves?

Hey, i study stuff like this at university and here is a scientific paper that came up in google that can possibly help you, it tells you about different food types given to horses and what happened to their hooves. Would read it all but couldnt be bothered!

You could also look into what supplements are out the specifically to promote healthy feet, and read what each contains and how they market that particular product etc

Biotin is the first thing that comes to mind.

If your Farrier is approacable ask him, in my experience they are the best people to consult about feet
