Stabbing myself in the leg with a pitchfork yesterday has obviously addled what little brains I have left

I have just sold two mares, cutting numbers down nicely before winter, so, I was browsing the local ads (as one does) and am now waiting for a mare AND 2 month old foal to arrive. HOW DID THAT HAPPEN

I am going to be in SO much trouble

We only went for a pleasant drive this morning to LOOK at some horses.

Boyfriend has been like..... if you saved all that money you spent on horses you'd have £5200 saved at the end of the year..... oh how little does he know of the real amount spent haha!!!

Palomino, 11 year old registered QH mare and bay (I think, it is splotchy) grade filly. The foal will make a nice playmate for my 3 month old colt at any rate.

lol, yes I bred my mare last year, got a beautiful foal this year and now gone and put a deposit down on another foal as company for my foal, gone from 1 horse to 3 in a year!!! That wasn't the plan!!! Husband NOT happy!!!! At least he's had his fishing and cricket this summer as I've not had any shows to go to with mare not being ridden!

Haha that made me chuckle it's very true! I'm becoming very adept at mental arithmetics by constantly halving or at the very least knock a third off most costs
