I need some help with my position!

Totally agree with Emma and thats the first thing i thought about when i look at the photo!!

Your pelvis is tilting forward which is bringing the whole top half forward.

About bloody time - you little lurker.

What you need is to get back on Cairo and start using your arse and legs again - you have had it so easy with Fleur and Genie you have forgotton what it is like to ride a real horse

Seriously nothing that bad - far better than me. Couple of lessons will soon put you right - having some at the moment myself - managed to find my seatbones under all my fat.

Mr C is so full of stamina at the moment that you will be suprised if you do get onboard - HPF and back non stop trot and canter at the weekend - didn't know the old bugger could keep going like that - great now he is clipped out too.

Nice to see that you are getting Genie going again.

"Would also add, I bought my hubby a shoulders back thing for Christmas as a stocking filler (he calls it his girdle as it's that fetching beige colour that old ladies knickers are made from!! )"

Sound`s like the same one that i`ve got, not a very atractive item!!

Please do let me know how he gets on.

Seriously though, if you think that in time with your rises, it's amazing how it "switches off" a lot of the muscles that are causing such trouble!!

In fact on this pic, that's EXACTLY what the instuctor you can see in the background is shouting at me!

Thanks for that will give it a go.

Wow what a lovely horse you have, that is just what my other half would love to have. What breeding is he?

And forgot to add if doing "squidgy bum, fat belly, squidgy bum, fat belly" gives me more of a position like you have then i will be well pleased!!!

I can`t wait to be abe to get back on my old boy again, i`m sure he will make me ride in a better position!!

Great to hear that he has a lot of stamina, obviously feeling very well at the moment, the new feeding regime that you have him on must be agreeing with him. For him to trot and canter all the way back from Hpf is great, nice to see the old boy can give you a run for your money!!

No Tania - he did it TO AND BACK from HPF - non stop trot and canter! I don't know what is up with him at the moment - think the instant linseed is helping his joints and the rest of the SS diet his energy levels.

Only walking we did was down the muddy steep bit and up the other side - old sod has been insisting on galloping up the hill side so I didn't let him on Saturday.

We also stopped by the apple tree and he managed to find a few hidden ones. One very happy old boy walking back from the Travellers munching away.

He also now has a tail bag, which he uses like a weapon on Chancer - we now call him the Steg (stegasorus).

I thought he was a full ID, i use to ride one many years ago and he was great! The idea was that when we bought my horse that me and my other half would share her, it didn`t work out like that!. He decided that she was perhaps a little to much for him and would be best for me and me alone to ride her!!!
