I have a 17.00hh ID/TBx who is a poor doer in winter. She is partly clipped for hunting in winter, lives out most of the time, but is well rugged up. But I can never find anything to keep condition on her in the winter.
She once tied up, so I want to keep off any type of grain etc. Last winter I fed her saracen releve, sugar beet, hi fi oil and ad lib hay at the recommended levels, but she is quite picky and still lost some weight. Has anyone got any tasty, conditioning, none heating feed in mind that I could try? I have also tried milk powder, oil, equijewel and calm and condition cubes.
