OK I'm already sat down lol- maybe I should lie down!

Just had my Mum on the phone informing me that my birthday present shall (hopefully) be of the fourlegged hairy variety!

God I sound like it's going to be my 12th birthday - it's my 30th!!! :D

I cannot stop grinning! Sorry, just wanted to share :D

I still hope every birthday/Christmas that I'm going to finally get a pony. I'm 29 this year so seems I shouldn't give up hope quite yet!! ;)

It is indeed - well, horse preferably! If it was up to my mother I'd still be riding a Shetland on the lead rein at the age of 30 - the thought of me riding terrifies her and I'm only a happy hacker/small jumper! :D

Oh I will definitely be doing the shopping, as much as I love my Mum she sees every horse as a way of breaking my bones! She'd be convinced every horse is out to kill me - I'd come home with a rocking horse! :D
 
My 30th birthday present to myself was my first horse. Ok I got him a couple of months before my birthday but still... 10th May 2008. A glorious sunny day and I hadn't been that excited since I was about 8 when we went to pick him up in the lorry. It was the most exciting day of my adult life besides getting engaged, my wedding day, my scan dates for my baby and the birth of my little boy. My husband thinks that's sad but he doesn't understand...

Wow your mum is awesome! How exciting. I'm thirty and got my first horse two years a go after a lifelong dream so can understand how you feel! I still feel like I'm dreaming some days! So excited for you wow!
 
Thanks all! Still pinching myself :-) its been years since I had my own so it really feels like the first time again! :-)
