Who would you like to attend a clinic with and why? Also if it was someone you really wanted a session with - how far would you be prepared to travel?

I tend to prefer one to one as the clinics I have previously been on the standard of the group can alter dramatically.
I travel an hour to a lesson with Lucy Thompson every week, so 2 hour round trip and wouldn't miss it for the world.
I am also contemplating going up to Aston Le Walls (2.5 hrs) for a xc lesson with Nigel Taylor as want to practise the more technical intermediate waters etc before hopefully stepping up to them this year. Not sure if this helps!!!!

If it was a 'Top class trainer' i would travel a good distance- 2hrs travelling max... and i would defo also use very close to a comp to get most out of training.
But very lucky around here as there are lots of very good trainer (in all threes phases) with hour of me or even less. It's finding the dosh to have lesson with, that's prob for me....

Im having a clinic with Nick Turner and Nigel Taylor at Ely end of Feb which im really looking forward to and that is about 2 1/2 hrs away from me.
I would looove a clinic with Andrew & Bettina Hoy and am in talks with them at the moment for a clinic at my yard sometiome within the next few mths, that will be excellent if I can pull that off.
I also stay in contact with Lucinda Green and am having a clinic with her at my yard hopefully in May, so luckily wont have to travel at all for those!!

I arrange some of our RC Clinics and find that we have all manner of people attend some just like to have a lesson with a Name others like to try someone different to the current instructor for new ideas and others at the top end want someone competing in their disapline. I have travelled just over an hour each way for instructors I want but I am luck due to location I never really have to travel over that as most names do clinics in the area and as i organise them I might bring someone new in so the distance does not increase.
