I am thinking about running an online horse shop.

Personally, I find everything that is horsey and good, pretty pricey but thats just my opinion. I need yours- could you answer my following questions??:o

1. What is your favourate horsey product?

2. What do you buy most often which you can get on the internet (not talking horse feed or supplements)

3. What do you find hard to purchase online?

4. Do you find items too expensive?

If you could answer these and add any of your own thoughts that would be great.....

1) Bandages, dressage bandages :D and Those fluffy overreach boots (but they are mega expensive, could make my own for £5!! :o )

2) Rugs!!! Can never have enough of them! Treats and licks coming a close 2nd..

3) The type of rug that I want for a reasonible price..

4) Yes, apparently you have to pay millions of pounds just to make you and your horse look half decent! I mean come on we own a horse we are broke!! :)

Long boots can be hard to buy because of the calf fitting so if selling these proper calf measurements would be good.

I buy jods, numnahs, rugs. Partic Hi-wither stuff as it is expensive in shops (though only marginally less online).

I find boots really expensive, plus i really hate some sites that say 'from such and such a price' because you invariabley have to pay more.

Sizing guides that give advice on whether things fit true, large or small to what they say.

Paypal is a must as is upto date stock levels.

If i think of any more I will post again (prolific online shopper).

1. What is your favourate horsey product?

Halters! I mean proper old fashioned halters that tighten up round the horses nose if they pull that will literally fit anything from a 10hh shetland up to an 18hh shire. I cant stand headcollars or these natural horsemanship halters. They will never beat a good old fashioned halter :)

2. What do you buy most often which you can get on the internet (not talking horse feed or supplements)

Rugs easily. Tack shops are crazy expensive with rugs, you can get some real bargains online.

3. What do you find hard to purchase online?

Decent halters!!

4. Do you find items too expensive?

Yes, look at the price of things like mane and tail conditioner, its daylight robbery!

1. What is your favourate horsey product? I love buying numnahs. Think I must own at least one of every colour now! :o

2. What do you buy most often which you can get on the internet (not talking horse feed or supplements)
Jodhpurs, Rugs, Likits, Horse treats, Numnahs, Brushing Boots

3. What do you find hard to purchase online? I notice some brands just list their stockists and don't say where you can buy them from online. If there was somewhere I could buy their products online this would be useful.

4. Do you find items too expensive? Yes, I love the blingy browbands but they are about £50.00 each!

1. What is your favourate horsey product?
Treats, grooming stuff.

2. What do you buy most often which you can get on the internet (not talking horse feed or supplements)
Books, rug bib, clothing

3. What do you find hard to purchase online?
Shoes (I'm a weird size so like to try on in store)

4. Do you find items too expensive?
Everything is too expensive. I mean, for the price of some things I coud make it by myself for less!

Thank you, some great opinions on here, keep them coming!!!!

I totally agree, rugs are too expensive as are a good pair of jodphurs and decent numnah's. I love the Nuumed Numnahs, but they are costly. It shouldnt be like that. Anything for the horses real comfort is pricey. Boots, both for horse and rider are too costly. This gives me alot to think about!

thank you!

Boots for the horse and Bits

3. What do you find hard to purchase online?

Yes! Especially bits I think they are so over priced for a bit of metal
