I looked at the eventer on the 'horses for sale' bit next to the forum, and thought 'oooh, that looks nice' - had a quick look at it, and found it is £22,000

Unfortunately WAY out of my price league

A friend of mine fancied a horse at a show... asked the price and was told US$400,000! It's a son of Baloubet de Rouet. Ludicrously overpriced IMO, but a very nice horse none the less

I'm with you on that one, just found out that my syndicate has been disolved at work and I'm not doing the lottery anymore!

But when you put £52 per year in and get around £8 - £12 back annually is it really worth it????

TBH that is the conclusion I came to - I got fed up of never winning anything so gave up buying a ticket!

It does mean I shall never own an eventer again though...sob!
