Posted the other day to say how worried I was about it, but needn't have been, passed first time with only 8 minors! Was very pleased. Took Jigsaw and a friends horse out for the first time today! Feels so good to have freedom to go out when I want instead of having to rely on my dad all the time!
Sorry very self indulgent but I'm so happy at the moment!!!

I didn't find it that hard, I did an intensive course so was driving it all week so when it came to the test it basically all came naturally! Definately the best way to do it if you can

My 7.5tonne lorry now feels tiny compared to what I learnt and took my test in!!

Thanks, I did mine with first class trucking in enfield and it was £745 for the weeks course (20 hours tuition) and £89 for the practical test. Think it was about £30ish for the theory

You have to be 21 to do the HGV class 2 category C but you can be 18 to do the C1 which covers you up to 7.5tonnes. Was the same price for both so just went for the HGV as thought it may come in handy in the future

Yep, will def make a big difference, I can now plan what I want to go to without having to worry about what my dad is doing and whether he will actually want to go!!!

Well done, I really want to do mine soon, as I'm stuck driving things under 3.5 tonnes at the mo and its not really practical.

Thanks, that was the same with me until last Friday lol!

Yey... Well done!

I have booked my intensive course and test so will be panicking very soon

Had a lesson with the 8 gears on Friday and really enjoyed it

Did the gear up and down change (1-5 and back down again) and now starting the course a week tomorrow

Aw good luck, i'm sure you will be fine, once i had got used to the gears it was fine. I found in my test I had everything my instructor had told me going round and round in my head so didn't really have a chance to make a major mistake! I found doing the intensive course really good. Let us know how you get on, i'm sure you will do great:)
