As it says really - just got home from work and got my stage 2 results and I passed

Didn't get a single cross or anything - can't quite believe it after I was so convinced I had ballsed it up.

Thanks so much to everyone who offered comfort and advice and shared their experiences when I was so upset last week.

Right... off to look up dates for PTT exams

Jumping really isn't too bad. I think what they want to see is that you can ride in a rhythm on the right leg and stay with your horse. It isn't very technical and only 2'6. The second horse I rode took an entire stride out at one fence, landed and shot off. I didn't get marked down so presumably they were happy with how I dealt with it rather than the fact that he did it in the first place.

I found the flatwork harder because they are quite keen to see you sit 'correctly'. I failed the first time I took it on my flatwork - basically they felt my seat wasn't secure enough which was a real confidence shock at the time.

I would say if your flat work is up to standard, you should go for it.
