Looking for the light
Eldests son's ODE was cancelled due to ground conditions so mummy went to play instead. I have a homebred mare that has been waiting to get to her first ridden show (I've been too busy with son and his pony, so she's taken a back seat for longer than I would like) so I decided that there was a great opportunity to go.
Local friendly show so we went to potter round for the nursery novice class. I haven't ridden in the ring for over a decade, since being pregnant with eldest, so it was a bit nervy! My friend was going to come and help me but unfortunately her mare had a field injury which required the vet so I was on my own.
My girl was very well behaved and I am so pleased with her today. Not a huge class but we got the red frilly. Very happy owner tonight.
