give a little something towards Claire Lomas' fundraising, she's walking the London Marathon in a robot suit, & various celebrities are walking a mile along with her. It's going to take her 2-3 weeks, every step is going to be a serious effort I suspect... all being done in aid of Spinal Research... and, there but for _______ (whoever or whatever you believe in) go any of us...

I've put my little bit in, and am shocked at how far off her target she is... if we all do a little bit, it'll bump it up a lot...
ta.

I have seen all the publicity and admired how she has dealt with everything and only today did I actually put my hand in my pocket.

Come on people donate to a really good cause!

Good idea. She's such an amazing lady, you can only imagine the strength it must take to get your life back together as she has done.

Um I thought they changed the London marathon rules to you have to finish on the dU it started, following 'Brian the snAILS' long marathon.

Have donated and just taken to twitter asking some jockeys to walk a bit with her or at least retweet!

From the London Marathon website:

SLOW RUNNERS
Our event only has priority over the roads on
the route for the time that it takes a seven
hour runner to reach the finish. If you are
slower than this, you will need to become
a ‘prudent pedestrian’ and move onto the
pavement. Before the roads reopen they
have to be cleaned and made safe from
bottles and other debris, and the Blue Line
has to be removed. If this activity is happening
around you then you must move onto the
pavement. Drinks stations will be closing and
marshals gradually standing down.
As on-course facilities become less available,
slower runners are encouraged to make
alternative provision for drinks and other
necessities. Those determined to finish will
be able to do so. Our team at the rear of the
race will endeavour to give support and advice.
Please be aware that only participants
who finish inside 8 hours and 15 minutes
(6pm real time) will receive a medal and a
finish time in the Official Results.
