...and she was again a star

Extra special because no other horse with us, just my dear and long suffering hubby on foot

A stressy moment when trotting up a hill

. Wanted to canter and wasn't too chuffed at being told she couldn't - had a handful of mane for that one! Tried it again, same reaction; she'd been fine elsewhere, so concluded that hill was quite steep and she is unfit, so maybe twinging a bit. We tried the same section at a very gentle trot, just where the strop had been, then walked it and she was fine both times, so left it at that

Such a good girl. Buses, motorway bridge - took it all in her stride

Hot choccies and Ferro Roche all round

Well done MrsM I get Dizzy riding in the arena where I was bucked off before Christmas well maybe not Dizzy just sort of panic attacks still wont need to go to the gym I have worried of a good few pounds and all my jeans are falling down (true)!

A fantastic day! Since hills can be easier to canter up than trot up, your analysis is probably right, so here's to many calm hill-climbings!
