YIPEEEEEE !!!! so good to be back in the saddle. Done 10 mins in the school, got bored and done some road work.
Waterford Loosering Bit, seemed to work a treat. Although they always seem to work the first time used. He tried hangining off my hands a couple of times and found that he could'nt !! He then decided to get rather frustrated by it and started the old throwing the head around trick !! Thank god I played safe and put on his martingale. More annoyig when he does it on road work though, as people look at me as if to say 'are you in control ??'
Got to off road bit and had a trot. We then had a canter, only little one, he tried to buck but again found that he could not lean on my hands to get his head down, so had a nice controlled canter. Bless him, he wanted to go faster and have a nice gallop and leg stretch !! Felt quite mean not letting him go, but hey ho !!
Got back to yard and thought would have aother canter in skool, bad move, opened gate and caught foot in it, have sprained it again !!! DOH !! not half as bad but no riding tomorrow for me !!!
Such a good day but soo annoying to do foot over such a stupid thing !!
