I Rode To My Prom!!! (Lots of Pics!)

Wow! You all look really fabulous! Wonderful, wonderful pictures!

Ignore the people having a dig about the hat. Some people are so h&s obsessed it's almost ridiculous. You obviously know your ponies and are perfectly capable riders, and a calculated risk every now again for a special occasion does no harm at all! In my teens I certainly took a few risks and I don't regret a moment!

The h&s police would rather we all stayed safely in our houses, playing on playstations!

Fabulous photos, you look beautiful :) :)

I am wondering though, how on earth did you get on and off?!  :D

(From someone else who has been kicked in the head! ;) )

LOL! Back in the days I didn't have to wear sports bras that look like some kind of bondage wear, I had to dismount during a hack to sort out a boot strap. Just as my friend (who had never given a leg up before, but was there on her bike) was giving me a leg up back on, the village fun run went past. I flashed a boob! :o

LMFAO!!!

Sorry, but that is very funny!!
I bet you felt a tad embarrased? :D haha

What's that line from 'Friends'??! Something like, "It's ok, I have good boobs" :p It was some years ago now. I've done far more embarrassing stuff since then! :o

In times of embarrasment, you have to look at the ground and walk away... (It's the best way to hide your red face!) I can safely say that I did not reveal myself at the prom!! :) I had premonitions that my dress would split/rip as I got on!! I am SO glad that it didn't!

Fantastic idea, photos and horses! Oh, and you look fab too.My daughter looked at your photos and said she'd like to do the same for her prom- which is in a couple of years yet. I have no objections, and its certainly given her and her horsey friends an idea to dwell on for the future.

For us back at mine we....Danced alot, got a bit drunk and had the best night to remember school by, where everyone actually got on for the first time ever. :)

Wow sounds as if you had fun!! But teachers being teachers at my school are all protective over there pupils so we have loads of teachers coming to our yr 11 prom so means we must be on our best behaviour lol as people are bringing friends and boyfriends lol o well, hopefully i will still have fun hehe

I will let you know how it went either 2 moz evening or tuesday, :p

We had a few teachers! :) They are really cool with it and down to earth! Look forward to hearing how it went! :)

Fantastic, well done. We often take young ladies or even young gents to proms in our horse drawn carriage, but we have never seen anyone actually ride, and in a side saddle position too.:D

You both look adorable on your horses. What a very special evening you had, giving you a wonderful memory of part of your childhood.
