Its true and I even trotted!! You may remember my posts about my slipped discs and thoughts of selling, well I have lost 2 stone, and feel amaaaaaaaaazing, so bought my neice a TB x to say thanks for keeping my mare working, and hopped back into the saddle...forgot how high she is and how wonderful riding is and wanted to share my happiness!! My neice is bonding with Izzy who is settling in well and before long we will be hacking together, YAY!!x
 
must be a great feeling after all that time. i have not been able to ride since may & am unlikely to be allowed to this year but i cant wait to get back in the saddle. thinking of riding again is one of the only things that keep me going when im feeling low.
 
Congratulations!! I bet you had a great time, but you will be sore tomorrow!

and congrats on the weight loss too :)
 
cheers all, will post some pics tomorrow....the weight loss was just cutting portions and saying no to things i used to say yes too!! Now i can ride again it should boost my exercise levels and more weight loss....x
 
I rode for te first time in five months yesterday! It was wonderful! Reminded me of why I love riding so much.

But waking up this morning, reminded me of the downsides. Stiff much?! I could barely walk, and I'm only 17. Worrying :S

Well done! Hope you don't get as stiff as I did!
 
good for you, i know how you feel as i had 8 months off due to spinal surgery. Bet It was just fab to be back on board. Your niece must be over the moon too with her present.
