I should not look at Preloved - Scary ad

I wonder if he parents know :(
I've backed horses but I wouldn't say I had nearly enough experience to start all that.. nevermind being a 13 year old thats been riding for 4 years. Hope that doesn't end in tears :o

Wow. My YO is looking for someone to back her three year old filly as Katie Jerram is busy this winter (who was her first choice)...

I don't normally highlight ads as you could have a field day on preloved. I just feel so sorry for all the aged horses looking for homes for free. There is a Connemara and that really got me, but I can only afford one. It is so sad on there, and then laughable when you read adverts like that. I only opened it as I was intrigued as to what horse taming was!

I have to say when I was that age I thought I was the most experienced horsewoman ever because I had "broken in" 3 Shetland ponies and 2 dartmoors... In actual fact all I did was sit on them and be led round as I was small enough but with a sticky bum to cope with the occasional spook and buck etc. but I was happy believing this! Didn't go round offering my services though....

Poster is in Dream land!

Terrible thing us though someone will send their horse there because its cheap.

She could be a decent rider but at 14 they would still need adult experienced help and advice.

Ooer :-/ hope she doesn't get injured by that confidence of hers. She just needs a difficult thoroughbred (or a welsh with attitude for that matter) and this idea will not seem such a good one...

Fantastic, I will pay the child's bus fare to come to me. I will be looking for a crash test dummy for Ted in the future. I am sure the experience of sky diving from a 17.2hh (minimum) will be a life changing experience.

She is experienced? pfff..has broken her friends pony with her & will break her own when its old enough...so that would be a maximum grand total of one then...or possibly half as i dare say she & the friend had adults supervising.

She invites questions.. (do you have a death wish? or just had your brains removed?)we could have some fun with this..but if only she would learn her lesson via our questions tho, rather than the dangerous way. She obviously insured too....

aww don't be mean to her. what a shame. i doubt if anyone (serious) will employ her, cheap or not.
At least she is getting off her erse to try and earn some money, might be better with a paper round though. bet her mum doesn't know. she might find out if one of you try to deliver their snorting tb to her back garden to be 'tamed' :D

I blooming hope no-one does for the poor kids sake! Actually I wouldn't want to be that kid when her parents find out  Might be a good idea if they could be alerted to the ad.
