I smell of horse wee and I'm happy!

I finally managed to get out of my drive this morning and made my way to the yard to see my daughter's pony

We've not been able to go up for nearly a week because of the snow. Pony is on full non-ridden livery by the way and I have paid to have her lunged whilst we've been unable to get up to the yard.

I feel so much happier now I've seen her. I loose-schooled her because there was snow on the walls of the inside school and I thought my bottom would freeze to the saddle if I tried to ride

We ended up running up and down the school together, although she can trot faster than I can run so she had to wait for me the ends. Probably goes against all the text book ways of doing things but we both enjoyed it and one of my friends gave me a carrot as a reward when we'd finished

I'd missed her loads. I have lots of photos of her dotted round the house but it's not the same as the real thing!

You would have laughed to see me if my friend had been cruel enough to take a pic on her mobile. Pony looked good but I was a wreck
