hi i still dont get it, there was over 900 people on here tonight and we are just not getting the votes that we need, does some one want to leave some comments if you have not voted, i cant learn from it if you dont comment on why you dont want to vote, over 600 people have read the posts, iam glad iam not running for pm lol.
 
I'm really sorry but I started to read the post below and gave up because the english was poor. Sorry but thats just me.
 
Reason one: It's not what I would deem Latest News so ignored it at first.

Reason two: I couldn't read it. Punctuate. Capital letters. Then maybe I'd have read past the second line.

Reason three: Give a link. I'm lazy. If I have to track down a link myself, it won't happen.
 
what can i say my english is rubbish sorry to all you english teachers out there lol, the post is in stable yard ,re please help and there is a link many thanks x

Reason 1: your posts are unreadable
Reason 2: you are badgering us constantly, trying to guilt-trip into voting for something we know nothing about
Reason 3: I can't be arsed to do google searches for the link

PS I'm glad you're not running for PM as well.
 
Done and don't worry about the rude comments, we can't all be perfect :-P

Oh and well done for trying to help your friend - I hope she realises what a good mate you are!
 
I clicked the link given on the first page of this thread. Do you mean vote for the equine bath kit? Why? The link doesn't give any information about it at all, can't even see what it looks like. Confused.
 
OK, I've had a good look round the site and I'm going to be honest, because hopefully that might help your friend. There is no information about her invention, no video, nothing. So personally I wouldn't vote for it because, however good the idea is, it wouldn't seem fair when others have taken the trouble to provide information and videos about their ideas.

I totally agree. I bothered to google and find the competition, and expected more information. I'm not voting for something when I have no idea what it is!
 
Tinypony, that is exactly why I won't vote either. I can't vote if I don't know what I am actually voting for.
 
hi i do have a english problem ok, the valid questions its been a year in the making and my friend would like to get it to market before the big companies copy it , all patent pending stuff, anyway for the nasty comments all i can say is try to practice at being a nicer person thanks x
 
You have had no 'nasty comments'; asking someone to meet the basic level of English is not nasty. The only unpleasant comment made on this thread is the once you made.

Your posts are doing your friend no good. Good ideas sell themselves, bad PR can prevent an idea taking off altogether.

I've had a look at the site, and have voted for the crime database :)

Same as, I'm afraid. Votes are usually given after some consideration and there's nothing to consider.

You did ask for people to say why they weren't voting and your initial 'presentation' was very hard to follow. There are often posts on here that are hard to read due to lack of punctuation etc. Most people don't speak without taking a breath/pause and if they did they wouldn't hold people's attention. Tis the same in this instance. It's not a personal slur, it is a valid reason and if you don't want a truthful answer, don't ask for it.

All she is asking is for your support for her friend that needs help in getting her invention up and onto the market. It takes 2mins to do and there is NO money you have to give to her for doing it!
I hope that whatever it is will help me with my horses and i hope the ones that have knock paint horse for trying to help her friend will be kicking themselves when you find out that whatever the invention is they will be wanting one!!! I do so hope this is so!!
 
I also didn't vote for this, as I have no idea what it is, what it does or anything at all about it. If I voted for it and it turned out to be badly made, or badly thought out, or possibly downright dangerous, then I would feel unhappy at the idea that my vote had allowed this product to knock another off the list.

Are you the friend that is trying to promote a product that nobody really knows what it is? Sorry but as they say, I am out!
 
Paint pony, nobody has been nasty to you. I'm an ex marketing manager and my feedback could be helpful if anyone takes any notice of it.

Actually, what she is asking is that the members of this forum support someone in trying to win a competition to get help with developing a product that they no nothing about. If they actually blindly did that then it would hardly be fair on the applicants who have made a serious presentation and put some effort in would it?
