Today I survived my first ever jumping clinic
The jumps were only tiny (no more than one foot cross poles), but considering up until a few weeks ago Murphy refused virtually every jump we attempted, I fell off at every opportunity, and I couldn't bear to even entertain the thought of cantering up to a jump, I am really quite proud
We did a little course: trot poles, then cantered up to and jumped a cross pole, then over canter poles, then cantered up to and over another cross pole! And I didn't fall off once!
Murphy has decided he LOVES jumping and got quite excited by it all and at one point he leapt straight over two trot poles (at once), and he was quite strong, but instructor said if I was struggling to hold him it didn't show, and that we've really improved since my last lesson
