i think he has broken 3 of my toes

my horse seems to take pride in standing on my feet on the way up to the field toda eh stood on the same foot 2 times on the way up the hill, and i thik he broke 3 of my toes, i can barley feel them untill i go to put anyweighton them then the pain is not excrusiating. and i cannot move them withought being in emence pain. they are begining to go a nice shade of purple as well and have swolen up twice their size,
shoe i be getting worried at thie point?
 
I dont think there is anything you can do with broken toes. Might be worth a trip to A n E though just in case. Try putting your foot in a bowl of cold water to help reduce the swelling?
 
Broken toes can be really painful - poor you!

I always take Ibuprofen to help with pain and swelling, ice, and elevation.
 
annoyingly i still have to try and ride the toe braking monster later with it or lunge might just some riding withough stirrups instead cause else i think it will b to painfull

Ice, elevation and ibuprofen.

Very painful, very sore, but will heal.

Have had many broken toes, you should see the state of my feet!

Be gentle with your poor toes!
 
oOOO i know how you feel, i have 2 broken toes - my mare trood all over me about 2 weeks ago and my toes are still fat and swollen and throb!!!
I still manage to ride though

Had some nasty toe injury pain doing Karate many years ago, you got injured toes less, the better you got at the sport, but it did seem to take such a long time to them to get better after bashing them on someones elbows, shin bone or whatever

I got trod on 5 weeks ago, still limping and to cap it all that same night I trod on a lego block in sons bedroom floor and collected a bruised heel!!!!
I now have steel cap boots...........
