My trainer was telling me how she was wowed by Vivaldi at a stallion show in Holland (I think) last weekend... So, I just happened to enter 'Vivaldi' into Google, accidentally pressed the link and then all of a sudden, before I knew it, I had requested to see the video of him!!!

Big, huge mistake... I can't stop thinking about him!

I wish Grace would start acting up again as she was threatened with a year off and being put in foal as the plan was always to have a foal from her for me alone, and I do think I will eventually do this. However, as she is being a good girl this week, she has been given a respite!

But, I am seriously in love with this stallion and was wondering whether anyone knew any more about him or who the contact would be should I decide to accidentally need some semen

Ah... Thanks for the link Halfstep!

Now, the real question is, would he suit my mare???

I am completely rubbish at conformational qualities, I know I have tried geeking up on it, but still not succeeding if I am honest. Give me a pretty face and I'm a gonna

However, I think he has a fantastic hind leg which would suit Grace, and he is a lot shorter and compacted than she is... and he looks to have better feet from what I can see in the video of him trotting

I have admired him for the last few years, apparently he is available this year, frozen only, 3 doses for £1500, do not know anything about his frozen semen quality or if that is with a live foal guarantee, if not then it is too much of a risk for me.

He'll be hot with those bloodlines, and possibly spooky (Krack C was known to be spooky.....). Has an exceptional hind leg and looks strong in his back and body. Nice neck, but I wouldn't use him on something with too much neck length as you could get a giraffe LOL. He got an 8.5 for his walk but I would only use him on something with a very good walk as both sides of his pedigree are know really known for their walks.

"The neck of the mares must not be too vertical (much arch upward)" some of the foals from his report were slightly ewe necked.

Thanks everyone...

Hmm, not sure what kind of neck DisGrace has

She has a good walk though, lovely over track and as she gets stronger this is increasing even further (I would say it is about two of my feet at the moment when she is really walking forwards and has loosened up).

Sorry for photos, I know not the best but they were on the first page of my photobucket and it was taking ages to download

I love him too! And would love to put my WB mare in-foal to him this year, he'd really suit her...........she's very like Grace conformation wise

But don't think the bank balance would like it

..................but we will see once her foal arrives.

Conformation wise he'd suit grace and he has Jazz on the dam side (you thought of Jazz at one time didn't you?)

I did indeed, I adore Jazz and just know when it is a Jazz baby because I fall head over heels for it

But, this guy is something seriously special... never seen a horse that has made me watch the video over and over again when it is not even doing anything especially exciting

Hey, you and I could go halves on three straws and hope they both take first time
