I was in Morrison's doing the shopping tonight and got a call on my mobile. It was a young girl (probably sounded about 12?) asking about "my mare that I was loaning out"
I've put loan wanted ads up on the various horse sites looking for a loan pony for J along with a picture of J riding Hattie side saddle and astride and put my mobile number on there so I guess that is where she saw it but she sounded so disapointed when I told her that *I* was looking for a loan pony not loaning Hattie out
Sigh, I'm already dealing with the plight of one horseless 12 year old and was once was one myself so I felt for this kid!
