Sorry it's a rather silly post but I'm really happy right now bless him! D isn't scared of my pony but prefers to do the jobs that don't involve going near him;), so me jibbering on how my youngster needs a bath and a good brush; next day I get a picture about half 1 of a very messy bf and a shiny pony! I'm so proud of both my boys - he doesn't do horses and my pony doesn't rate being taken out the field for a real good brush by a 'stranger'. I know the girls probably helped him alot but it's the fact he gave up his day to do something for me that I just don't have the time to do properly, (how awful do I sound as an owner now!) with all my revising for exams it has made me realize how lucky I am to have him!:D x

Awwww what a nice thing for him to do. My OH tries to help out but Herbie hates Men so he normaly ends up getting kicked so now he just mainly helps out with Merryn who is a much friendlyer pony ;) :p :D

Awww well done for you gettine one like that :D Keep him definatly.

My non horsey OH has not only put up with me talking about a horse for a month that I want to buy, hes come with me to see her, and fell in love and even was ok when I fell off (my fault really, she spooked when I should have been ready for it) he still wants to get this one too. He's also contributing towards her keep, as he wants to pay all livery now :D

He's a keeper, good OH's like these are worth their weight in gold. Mine did the same the other week.
Youngster had her first comp and I was stuck at home babysitting an 11 week old baby and a 6 year old. OH was dispatched at 7am to clip her legs and bath her. He'd never bathed a horse before, but when I arrived at the yard with baby and child in tow, the horse was chilled, squeaky clean and shiny and looking fabulous.
Another talent to add to his CV.

Yes he is loverly and sooo a keeper :D Nice to know I'm
not the only one with a thoughtful OH hehe :)
Oh and China.. I don't think they're available on eBay any more sorry ;)

My OH is like this...

so I married him!

Awwww, bless him!

Mine is horsey, but himself and Monty don't really get on - they're too similar personality wise and both regard each other with a definite suspicion :D Wish he'd bath Monts though, I keep meaning to but on the days when the weather's good enough I don't have the time :(

Although, having said that, if he did something like that for me I'd have to reciprocate and, as much as Monts can be a pain in the backside at times, he has NOTHING on boyf's collection of complete lunatics!

Aww! He sounds very thoughtful and sweet, deffo a keeper!!

Must say i have a gooden too, apprentice farrier (really comes in handy, considering my horse pulls shoes of ALL the time!) :p
