SShe's also 8, is that too old to be breeding? he's a superb example of the breed, I haven't got the health checks done as I already know she has elbow displaysia, and hip displaysia and PRA but that's common in the breed and other than that she's so pretty and so many people have told me they'd love to see her in the show ring or to have pups off her, I'm sure we could get rid of them all. Does anybody out there know of a good stud dog? I don't mind if it's KC reg or tested as I just want to have the experience of breeding her without spending too much money.

:P:P *disclaimer. This is fully tongue in cheek and dog in question is spayed. **

I'd breed her, sell the decent pups and send any rejects to the local rescue centre

I know a guy who has a nice black lab, it's not registered but he's cute and still has his bits. For a bottle of scotch I'm sure we could arrange a meeting

We have a chocolate lab dog in our rescue, he looks a good sort, not yet had his knackers off yet, he could be jsut what u are looking for, u can use him for free, if I can have a puppy to sell

he was brought to be pts as he is destructive and has aggressive tendancies, but Im sure he would produce some lovely pups with your old bitch, he has no health tests, but I can confirm by looking at him, he is the dogs bollocks

Pm me for more details, it would be nice for him to have to off spring, as he may yet end up pts

I have a lovely mastiff he's fine health wise (except for the occasional fit about once a week). I think his off spring would benefit from her calmer temperment and his extra bone may help strengthen the joints of the pups.

I have a completely neurotic GSD bitch who loves running round and round in circles, she is soooooooooo pretty and she has a fully functioning set of reproductive organs - she can walk in a straight line so her hips must be OK, what do you think?! Breeding her to a lab would definitely calm her down.

Well, you got me too ... I've just read your post with my mouth open ..... till I read the disclaimer!

Oh wow, so many offers, sorry Cala but even though you'd definitely get a puppy a home I think I'd rather go for the one who I only have to give alcohol to, much cheaper really! And I can then sell all the pups!
::P MAybe Hacking Hacks GSD could breed to Cala's.
Isn't HHO great, we can produce loooooads of puppies to sell

:D

I think you should wait until she is in season, drive her 15 miles away from home and drop her off. As she finds her way home she will meet some lovely dogs and get the job done without messing up your garden.

My bitch has loads of two and three-letter acronyms in her pedigree and lots of dogs with 'vom' and 'von' in their names, that means she is very special.

Who wants a Germador? Five hundred a pop! Er, I mean 'pup'....

HH, we should def x your bitch with my rescue lab, I think I aleady have homes lined up, my aunties, cousins, daughters, brothers third son removed is interested in one, and I saw a lady outside the shops today, and she said, if I breed from him, she wants one, she looked an ok sort to me..........what do u think?

Your on, Ops also forgot to say, his hips look rather weak and wonky, but the purchasers will only see your bitch when they buy, so I think it should be ok, plus, who is going to turn down a cute puppy

just let them purcase them from your car in the middle of knowwhere, and when they grow up deformed and delapitated and waddle like ducks, u won't have to take any back

Just a little tip if you do have trouble getting rid of, sorry I mean homing, the pups. I find that setting up in a layby works really well. You get lots of passing traffic and when the pups need the vets with all their multitude of problems there will be no way of tracing the troubles back to you
