I really am beginning to feel that I have a bond with my first horse George of only 1 month. Sorry if the attached pics are a bit soppy but hubby took them this a'noon and I'm well chuffed (or at least I would be if I didn't look so shocking

Yes definately a big head but then he is 16.3! He is a thoroughbred shire x possibly with some ID thrown in for good measure!

You can have ours then - two buckets of superglue would not bond my daughter to ours no matter how hard she tries. I think horseys are like men, they've got to be right not just ok for now for it to work. Good luck with your boy its nice to see.

No real plans at the moment, I went out to buy a smallish (14.2-15.3) native cross that was reasonably well schooled, but then I met George and fell for him hook line and sinker! His schooling is somewhat rudimentary, but his manners and nature are wonderful and so far he is a saint on the road. I would love one day to do a basic dressage test at a show with him, but as in 30yrs of riding I've never been to a show

and don't have transport that could be interesting!

At the moment just loving having him, getting to know him and having fun
