Cracked and chipped bone in forearm four and a half weeks ago. Dizz slipped on the road (walking nicely!) and we went down.

Never cracked a bone before.

How long 'till it stops hurting?

Not ridden since then, and have to give it six to eight weeks 'till I start riding again - if it gets bashed again, the piece of bone will probably break off, which sounds damn painful to me

ah bless you, it will get better it just takes longer as we get older

my little girl did hers last year, it took 12 days before it was ok, but that was like a lifetime her.

my mum did hers she 60 and it took 12 weeks

my advice is to hit the bottle

or kettle in my case

not at all it worries me that my mum is 60, cause she should be really old at that age, but she is not !!!!!!!!!

i am sure mrs m is not 60 if she was she would be in more pain and not be able to type as quick on the net as she does.

mrs m have you been given any pain killers

Mrs M, I think you should put your feet up and hire a house and work slave for at least six weeks.!!!

BB - typing is second nature (after the amount of time I've spent on here it should be lol). At least now I can put capitals in

I was in town today with my Great-Niece and have to admit to doing a bit of pram pushing, though in my defence it was a light stroller thingy and I only did it on the flat bits
