Now i knew my wheelbarrow had some rust holes but was still useable, then this happened -

My mum emptied it for me and im not sure what happened but it is now on by one bolt and i can't get anywhere to get a new one

Wonder if it is useable like this

Sorry bit of a pointless post.

oh dear. Maybe you should invest in a new shiney one when you can! I reckon you'll get away with using it in the meantime if it is on by one bolt and you are careful!

You can manage with that with a bit of ingenuity.

We managed to keep a yard of 18 horses going with just one wheelbarrow, which had a flat tyre, for two months until we could afford a new one.

Mind you, that is pretty extreme... could be more baler twine than wheelbarrow there by the time you've finished fixing it!

baler twine is the answer, will last much longer than you would imagine.......... will see you here in 7 years time saying the twine has snapped!!
A Change is as good as a rest and your wheelbarrow will appreciate it!.....not ready for the scrap heap yet...!!

DON'T THROW IT AWAY!!!! It could still be useful for organ donation. Keep it on life support while you contact Shils. Her Old Grey was in ICU, and she was desperate for a donor barrow so she could transplant some new parts!
