I think I've cracked it! - Confidence is back :)

Finally! I've found a fantastic instructor, have a fantastic, patient, sweet horse, a fabulous YO and fellow liveries.

Now I can't wait to ride her again. I've gone from petrified since being chucked off a riding school horse (not mine) a couple of days before getting mine, dreading riding, to wanting to ride all of time! It's clicked - whoop whoop.

I bet it rains tomorrow. I was praying for rain today to give me an excuse

Anyone with confidence issues, keep at it, take it slowly, find an understanding instructor experienced with nervous riders who will persuade, but not force you and it will click eventually.

Well done! I have done perminant damage to my confidence, fine if I ride every/most days but if I have a break I'm terrified to get back on (current horse used to be an idiot but is now a saint).... not that he has ever done anything since I moved him to current yard almost a year ago
