I think my horse is shrinking!

Blue isn't a particularly great doer in the Winter and tends to drop weight, if i compart photos of him from the Summer to last weekend he looks considerably smaller, well i look bigger on him! BOOOOO!! Where is Summer!!

I think your legs look more relaxed and longer in the second picture, which might be part of it.

I'd definately say you're imagining it, he looks the same size in both. Although I really do feel you should be wearing a hat in the first pic!

I don't think so, think my stirrups are same length in both. Only have them 1 hole down from my jumping length for flatwork...

Breeches in second pic are the same as the ones in the first pic just a different colour, the beigey ones have a navy seat. They are cheapo ones though and they don't stretch as they're cotton!

Well I adopted another horse who I was told was 17hh I measured him two nights ago and he is in fact 17.3hh so I have the opposite problem he appears to be growing!!!

I think maybe Blue's belly is just not so big in winter?

He does seem to have lost a bit of weight in the second pic. Perhaps he is just fitter? Or maybe burning more calories to keep warm in the winter, in which case increase either rugs or feed or both if you are worried. But maybe do a condition-score first to see if you need to be worried.
