Well they've lived together since september, but friday evening they I moved them to a new yard.

They are now turned out together only, but can see all the other horses in theor yards.

They've been acting a lot calmer with me.

But today when I gave them a brush I kept finding little cuts and bumps!

Teddi was always bottom of thje pecking order before, but now he seems to be having a bit of a fight back at snowflake.

Do you think this is normal?

Sounds like a bit of a stress thing connected to moving yards to me. Im sure it will settle down over a week or two. I wouldnt worry yourself too much.. What do you do if you ride one of them? Just wondered if when separated when you ride maybe the other one gets a bit worked up until the other returns and then they let of steam by being a bit tetchy with eachother. Just a thought or maybe you havent ridden yet, its early days.

no i havent ridden them yet as im too pregnant, not sure what im going to do with the other when i do want to ride, teddi will be fine in a stable, snowflake however will not he's been known to jump out of stables etc.

Congrats for a new baby. Your 2 will settle and Im sure the situation will sort itself out soon enough. At least you have time to maybe sort out someone to ride with you when the time comes. Good luck.
