The vet visit was SO worth it, just to see Flick relaxed like this again :D

Trust Amy to want to get into the photo too :p

Now I have looked at yesterday's pics I think the bruising is less harsh than it was even this time yesterday (not less in area, just slightly less raw looking) so fingers crossed things continue to improve :)

Still think vets fees are a rip off though :p :D :D :D

Naw bless her! :D
Tills lies like that and takes up a whole bloody sofa. :p
Glad shes feeling more comfy now :)

Imagine having three of them at it Vizslak :D She has just done a massive stretch, sore leg and all, so she is definitely in 'I feel no pain' mode at the moment :D

I've got to say FB, I have never seen a dog make such a quick recovery :D I didnt bother giving her the 3 rimadyl tablets, the day after she had had the injection she was bouncing around like an idiot again and was perfectly sound, she has been so ever since :D The bruising went incredibly quickly too, I was really surprised.

It did make me LOL to see Flick dashing off in the woods today to the same spot where the roe deer had been - of COURSE it would still be there a week later....:p:D

HazellB you have SALUKIS :) :) :) Please can we have some pictures :) :) :)

I would but am **** at making pics appear on screen. I'm hard pressed to manage words some days ....

I've one Saluki, an RSPCA dog. They claimed he was a 'big lurcher puppy' who would suit my greyhound x collie perfectly. It was 18 months before I realised I'd been sold a pup and had in fact gotten a brainless, obnoxious, nasty Saluki with just one mission in life ... complaining! Not that we'd swap him for gold, of course. He tried eating my new Jack Russell yesterday, ear first. Dog food not good enough for him ......

I'm in the market for at least another one when he's gone, whatever the problems. I love them :)
