I had been riding for a few days with the outside of the stirrup iron resting and pushing against the middle of my little toe. That spot where the toe naturally curves. I was resting the stirrup forced right into that spot on the toe and probably had the foot kinda crooked in the stirrup.
Well now i think i might of stress fractured it. Its been two weeks and hurts like crazy if i touch that part of the toe just right. Perhaps its just some kind of deep bruise, but after two weeks i would think it would be better.
Has anyone heard of someone breaking their small toe by riding with it forced against the side of the stirrup iron??
