My 4yearsstandinginafield ex racehorse who since I have had him as always liked to be out. So I've obliged and for the most part he's been out 24/7 since I got him. But he lost a lot of weight when we were at the old yard, so now we've moved he's in every night just so he can get his fill of hay and build up more condition. He's hated it, every night we'd argue, and I'd win so he'd be in for the night. Every morning he would be out like a flash in to the field.
Except for the last few days. We've moved into the fancy American barn, he's stabled next to a little filly, who he lays as close to the wall as he can to be near her. I got down today took ages for him to come out of the stable. We walked a few paces, he stopped. We walked he nudged me then turned back around.
My outdoor tb is now loving his life as a pampered posh pony
