He lives up with my mum and dad at the moment, he's 50 miles away and I've hardly ridden him all summer.

I can't afford to move him down with me, and now my dad says he's getting divorced, selling up and has offered to give away his horse!

On top of this OH is wanting to move to London to earn more money (Badger is in Sheffield!!)

I think I have no choice but to sell him? This time last year he was probably worth a bit, he was jumping NC and PN then hunted all season, but he's done bugger all this summer and is a fat bugger!!

I wish I new someone perfect for him and I'd give him to them!! But I don't!

He's lovely. Doesn't seem to be every bodies ride but he's perfect for me!!!

He doesn't do anything wrong but needs a decent jok.
 
Again if you consider loan pm me as im relativly close to london and im looking for a competative SJ as currently SJ my 13.2 so bit on the small side
 
Can't you put him loan, that way you could still go up to see him, perhaps ride him odd times and not have the expense or worry, then when your in a better situation and have more time, you could take him back and never need to sell him, I'm sure you will be flooded with offers from people on here, surely there will be someone suitable who can manange him (after reading your post in CR) just a case of getting to know him and bringing him back into work.
 
If you think you will be in a position to have him full time in the foreseeable future, then I would put him on loan to a competitive/hunting home for the next few months while you sort yourself out.

If you can't see yourself being in a good position to look after him for a long time to come, then I would put him on loan again to a competitive home for the winter, and sell in the spring when he is fit and has a recent competition record.
 
Agree with everyone else about loaning him... or if you do decide to sell him relatively cheaply or give him away let me know. You pm'ed me about Tully last year, but I've grown more and he will be far too small now sadly. Please pm me if you decide to loan/give away/sell, as I think he's lovely
